The Anteaters on Saturday ventured north to take on CSUN in a Big West Conference basketball game. Irvine entered undefeated in conference, but the Anteaters figured to be tested by the high-scoring Matadors in their friendly confines, especially since Irvine senior guard Luke Nelson was out with a hamstring injury.
