Through the efforts of the National Center on Deafness, Cal State Northridge has emerged as a national leader in providing quality education to deaf and hard of hearing students in a mainstream university environment.

Cal State Northridge boasts one of the largest nationwide enrollments of students in a mainstream environment. Our model of integrating students into regular university classes by providing services through NCOD has been duplicated by countless other schools throughout the United States and internationally.
