Music Therapy Association
The purpose of the Music Therapy Association of Northridge is to promote an awareness of the music therapy profession on campus and on a community level and, to provide a forum to support the students of music therapy at CSUN. To this end, many of our members participate in community volunteer work with disabled youths and adults within a music therapy medium. The Music Therapy Association of Northridge represents the students of Northridge within the American Music Therapy Association and provides volunteers for national and regional conventions of this association. We are also active participants in the on-site CSUN Music Therapy Clinic which provides music therapy services for autistic, Down Syndrome, cerebal palsy, Williams Syndrome, or otherwise disabled children. All members of the Music Therapy Association of Northridge are dedicated to the CSUN Music Therapy program's high standards of excellence, achievement and creativity.
