Faculty Artist Recital: Julia Heinen, clarinet; Francoise Regnat, piano; with Lorenz Gamma, violin

Julia Heinen

As a soloist, Julia Heinen has performed hundreds of recitals throughout the United States and had the distinct pleasure of premiering several works written specifically for her. Françoise Régnat is a graduate of the Paris Conservatory with first prizes in both piano and chamber music, and also holds an Artist Diploma from Indiana University where she studied with Gyorgy Sebok. As former co-leader of the Amar Quartet in Switzerland, Lorenz Gamma performed a full-time concert schedule touring through many of Europe’s most important chamber music venues, including the Tonhalle in Zurich, the Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Residence in Munich, and the Cologne Philharmonic. Deanna Murray

Dr. Murray received the DMA in Vocal Performance from the University of Arizona following a period of performance in Europe and the United States. She has won various classical vocal competitions such as the Music Teacher's National Association Young Artist Award, the Riemann Operatic Award, the Butterfield Competition and was district finalist for the Metropolitan Opera Audition numerous times.  Read more
