Students still have time to register for Virtual Speed Mentoring

CSUN’s Journalism Department will host a free, virtual Speed Mentoring event on Thursday, Sept. 30, from 5:30 - 7 p.m., via Zoom. The online event is open to all students and will provide them the opportunity to connect with working professionals to discuss their chosen career paths, say organizers, as well as gain advice and ask questions about what a day on the job might look like. This year, the CSUN Department of Journalism offers 11 scholarships and awards to undergraduate and graduate students, including the $14,000 Flip Wilson Scholarship. Several others are available at up to $4,000. All applicants must be undergraduate Journalism majors or graduate students in the Mass Communication program. Read more
