Involvement Advisement

Do you want to get involved, but aren’t sure how? Meeting with the Involvement Advisor can help! Maybe you have some ideas but don’t know where to start. If you’re already involved and want to look for more ways to expand, then involvement advisement can assist you, too!

Involvement advisement is open to all students! If you’re a new student here or have been at CSUN for years, undergrad or grad student, not involved at all or highly involved – you can walk right in! The Matador Involvement Center, better known as the MIC, is located in the University Student Union (USU) Sol Center on the first level.

Walk-in hours for the Spring 2016 semester have concluded. Walk-in hours and involvement advisement appointments will begin the second week of the Fall 2016 semester. If you would like to speak to someone about getting involved now, please visit the Matador Involvement Center or call us at 818-677-5111.

Reasons why students don’t get involved might include being shy, not knowing how to, and not having enough time! But – you might find the benefits that come from involvement are worth pushing your comfort zone. CSUN Matadors say some of the benefits of getting involved are meeting new people, building your resume, gaining skills, developing a professional network, and making a big campus feel more like home!
