Do you want to pursue a PhD in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science? Would earning an MS along the way make sense to better prepare you for the doctorate program? Then, the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation – Bridge to Doctorate (LSAMP-BD) Program at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) offers you an ideal opportunity.

Eligibility

Students Eligible for a BD Fellowship:
● Have earned a BS degree in a STEM discipline
● Participation in an LSAMP program
● U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
● Minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA
● Acceptance to a CSUN STEM graduate program

Benefits to Fellows

● $30,000 annual student stipend for each of two years
● Tuition and fee supplements
● Participation in research projects with
close faculty supervision
● Participation in professional meetings
● Preparation for successful application to PhD Programs
