Intern

Interns will participate in two semesters of supervised fieldwork. In the first two semesters, they are under the supervision of a University Supervisor.  In the final, third semester of supervised fieldwork, they are under the supervision of a University Supervisor and Master Teacher.  The Intern will also have a school-site Support Provider who will observe and assist the intern, but who will not evaluate the Intern.  The Single Subject University Intern Program (SSUIP) Web site can be accessed at http://www.csun.edu/education/sed/intern/.

The observers will complete an Observation Form (NCR) for each of the specified formal observations, and discuss it with the Intern teacher before distributing the copies as noted on the form.
