Writing conferences are not available for 097, 098 or 155 composition courses, or for University 100, Freshman Orientation. If you need help writing a paper for one of these classes, you need to visit our Writing Lab (BH 415).
If you want to discuss any aspect of your writing process for a class other than freshman composition -- from brainstorming to editing--if you want to go over your wpe exam, get help preparing for the WPE and CBEST exams, learn productive study techniques, or simply ask a question. -- you have three options: meet Face-to-face with a writing consultant , set up a fax/phone conference, or post a question to our monthly forum.
Face-to-face 30-minute Writing Center conferences
- Meet with a consultant in The Writing Center (BH414)
- Discuss writing techniques, go over your WPE exam, prepare for the WPE or CBEST, learn study strategies.
- All appointments are limited to 30 minutes

Fax/Internet Post/ 30-minute phone conferences
- Fax a paper/phone a consultant
- Discuss a paper (class assignment or WPE exam) over the phone after faxing it into the Writing Center

- Because of budget contstrants, the Online WC will be closed until further notice. Please visit us on campus in BH414
