Go the Learning Resource Center's Freshman Comp. Writing Lab, Bayramian Hall SB415. They take walk-ins, but making an appointment is strongly suggested.

You MUST take your assignment prompt and the draft or drafts with my comments on it. Make an appointment by calling 677-2033 with a peer tutor in the writing lab and ask them to assist you with your portfolio revision. Retain the copy of your visit (pink sheet) and include it in your portfolio revision as I must have evidence of your visit. Without this confirmation, I will not even look at your revision.
After you have reviewed all of your instructor's comments and completed your portfolio revision:

You MUST write me a letter with the salutation Dear Prof. Overman--addressing the following:

What you worked on specifically with the peer tutor?

What specifics did he/she assist you with?

What did you get out of this meeting?

Turn in your folder to me again with the above letter, copy of your appointment, the original grade rubric with my comments on it, your portfolio revision, and all the drafts with my comments in addition to all the usual relevant documents.
