Information for Community College Advisors
Dear Community College Colleague,
On behalf of the Liberal Studies Program, I would like to welcome you to this web page especially designed for community college counselors and staff. As the Special Programs Director, one of my responsibilities is to improve the way we interface with our community college partners. Of course, the ultimate goal is to make the transfer process as seamless as possible for our students.
We hope to accomplish this goal by implementing the following:
This web page will contain up-to-date news and announcements, frequently asked questions, and several relevant links especially for those working with students at community colleges.
We plan to create a listserv for Articulation Officers, community college counselors, and any other interested parties. If you would like to join the listserv, please feel free to email me at fariba.farzan@csun.edu.
If possible, I would like to attend your Counseling Department meetings so that I can get a better understanding of how to improve communication between our two campuses and to also address any questions you may have.
