FREE SCREENING OF: Go For Zucker is a comedy about a wheeler-dealer who must reconcile his differences with his Orthodox Jewish brother in order for both to inherit their mother's sizeable fortune. The 90 minute film (appropriate for adults only) will be followed by a short Question and Answer with CSUN Professor Michael Meyer, expert in modern German culture and history. Guest Speaker: Moshe Goldin Moshe Goldin, a licensed Israel Tour Guide, will speak about archaeology in Israel, explain what a "tel" is, and discuss the Roman period in Israel, focusing on King Herod and the Roman siege of Masada. Guest Speaker: Honey Amado In 2002, Ms. Amado traveled to Germany as part of a small delegation from the American Jewish Committee, hosted by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the think-tank associated with the German Christian Democrat party, to participate in discussions regarding post-Holocaust relations between Germans and Jews and Germany and Israel.
