CSU International Program at Waseda University, Tôkyô top

The CSU system has an exchange program at Waseda University in Tôkyô, the oldest and one of the most prestigious universities in Japan. This one-year program allows you to study the Japanese language and other courses taught in English at Waseda while paying the CSUN tuition, not the tuition for this exclusive private university. All the credits are transferrable to your home institution. One year of Japanese language, a course on Japanese culture, and the GPA of 3.0 are required of applicants for this program. Home stay is an integral part of the program where you learn what it is to live as a member of a Japanese family and the Japanese society. The program also offers various field trips, including a travel to Kyôtô, sumo and kabuki viewing, and a dinner party on a yakata-bune (a house-shaped boat) in Tôkyô Bay.
