Fraudulent Message Targeting Email Users

Cal State Northridge continues to be a target of fraudulent email offers/warnings. Please review the latest message (Subject: Sad News...) sent to a large group of CSUN email users which is currently being blocked by IT. If you received this message, please delete it immediately and do not respond; additionally, please forward the message to abuse@csun.edu.

Cal State Northridge will never ask you to provide your password, social security number, or any other personal information by email. If you have any questions, please contact the IT Help Center.

Virtual Software Library

All CSUN students can now access select software from any computer with an Internet connection. Available software includes: Mathematica, SPSS, ArcMap, ArcReader, LibreOffice, Open SSH, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

To access the software, students can visit the VSL Login page and sign in with their CSUN user ID and password. Students will be prompted to install the Citrix software. For more information, visit the VSL page.
