Welcome to Information Technology
New and Returning Students, Faculty and Staff
This web site is designed to allow easy access to CSUN IT services and support including information about SOLAR, how to connect to the wireless network, and what to do if you forget your password.
IT services and support that are available for students, faculty and staff are accessible from pages specific to each audience.

New Wireless Network Login
CSUN has implemented a new wireless authentication process that requires you to login via any web browser to access the wireless network from on–campus.
To connect to the Internet from your laptop, launch any browser (such as Internet Explorer) and enter the same CSUN Username and Password that you use to connect to the myNorthridge Portal and your CSUN email.

Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have built a system that turns a human tongue into a joystick or computer mouse, so that disabled users can control their wheelchairs or computer desktops with their mouths.
Computer Scientists to Congress: Don't Tell Colleges to Install Filters on Networks
A group of computer scientists in academe, industry, and government is urging some members of the Senate and House of Representatives to oppose legislation that would encourage or require colleges to install network filters to inhibit illegal sharing of music and video files.
