Who can access the wireless network?
CSUN students, faculty, staff, and guests who have a valid user ID and password. To request a guest account, university departments should contact the IT Help Center.
What wireless network options are available?
Eduroam grants you access to the Internet without having to log in every time! Following a one-time setup, connect to the "eduroam" wireless network anywhere on campus, or anytime you visit an eduroam-member institution, which includes several CSUs and other universities throughout the U.S. and the world. To learn more about the benefits of using eduroam, visit www.eduroam.org.
How do I access the wireless network?
For access instructions, locate your OS or device from the following list. Most Wi-Fi capable devices purchased since the last quarter of 2006 are compatible. Note: Gaming devices (e.g. Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox etc.) are not compatible.
If you experience any problems, please contact the IT Help Center.
Network Equipment Refresh
We are updating the CSUN network with new equipment in many campus buildings. If you are in a building during the scheduled refresh, you will experience intermittent loss of wireless network connectivity. Visit Network Equipment Refresh to view the refresh schedule.
