YouTube

My name is Herman DeBose. I'm chair of the sociology department. How do I use technology? I'm somewhat new to technology in the sense that, for lack of a better term, I'm from old school, and so I'm learning all of this technology. I've learned how to input things from YouTube into my lecture. I found out that I could onto YouTube, and if I'm teaching a course that deals with poverty, deals with HIV and AIDS, deal with substance abuse, deal with teen pregnancy, deals with discrimination and prejudice, I can go on YouTube, and I can find a one-minute to two-minute video clip that illustrates what it is that I want to say, and so I've found that to be very, very helpful.
