This workshop covers how tablets can be used to enhance the classroom experience.
Building on the material presented in Moodle Basics, this workshop will cover adding activities for communication, collaboration and assessment. This will include forums, quizzes, assignments and an introduction to the gradebook and activity logs.
This workshop will focus on two of Moodle’s most useful features for assessment. Online quizzes/exams can be used to assess students’ progress as well as be a useful tool for self practice and can provide feedback to learners on their progress. Moodle’s quiz tool includes many question types including true/false, multiple choice, short answer and essay and can be set up to automate much of the work involved in creating and grading these assessments.
