Virtual Software Library (VSL)

Thanks to Campus Quality Fee funding, all enrolled students now have access to CSUN's Virtual Software Library. The VSL grants students anytime access to select software via an Internet connection from a Mac, PC, Linux, or mobile device.

Software by Department

Other specialized software, such as Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks, InDesign, and Dreamweaver, is also available to students enrolled in select courses, based on departmental/discipline needs. For more information, visi the Virtual Software Library (VSL) - Requesting Software page.


Accessing the VSL

Visit the VSL Login Page and enter your CSUN user ID and password. Note: VSL only accepts CSUN user IDs which are composed only of letters and sometimes numbers (such as dl76674). If you don't know your user ID, visit Forgot User ID.

Maintenance Window

To keep the VSL running optimally, scheduled maintenance will take place Saturday from 12:01 a.m. through 6:00 a.m. During this time access may be intermittent.
