Phones & Voicemail

Phones are an integral component of the University’s technology infrastructure.  Most university phones utilize the voice-over-IP (VOIP) system which integrates phone usage with the computer network.  This integration significantly reduces calling costs while providing robust benefits for our faculty and staff.

It is recommended that first–time users review the “Phone & Voice Mail Quick Reference Guide” to familiarize themselves with the proper configuration and setup of your phone and voicemail.

To Order a New Phone:

To order a new phone, submit a SOLAR Financials chargeback request.  Available phone options and prices are listed on the IT Services Price List.

Service Your Phone:

If your phone is not working properly or you need assistance with voicemail, please contact the IT Help Center.

Forgot ⁄Change Your Password:

If you forget your voice mail password or would like to change it, contact the IT Help Center at (818) 677-1400 or send an email to helpcenter@csun.edu

Get Training/Help:

The “Phone & Voice Mail Quick Reference Guide” is available as an on–line guide for your assistance. You may also contact the IT Help Center if additional assistance or training is required. Individual or group training can be scheduled for faculty and staff.
