How Do I Access Faculty Email on Monday, November 16th?

  • Webmail Users - If you currently access your email account using Webmail, you will continue to access it as you do today. The new Webmail has a slightly different look and feel. To make full use of the enhanced features available in Webmail, we recommend using Internet Explorer 7 or higher. To learn more about using the new Webmail visit http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/code/OWA/index.html.
  • Outlook/Entourage Users - If you currently access your email account using Outlook or Entourage, you will continue to do so in the same manner after the transition with one configuration change. The instructions to make this change are available at http://www.csun.edu/it/services/exchange/configure.html. If you would like to have your account configured to share calendars and contacts, instructions are available at http://www.csun.edu/it/services/exchange/add.html. Note: If you require assistance making this change, please contact your local technical support staff or the IT Help Center.
  • Other Email Client Users - If you currently access your email account from another client such as Thunderbird, Netscape, or Mac Mail, you will continue to do so in the same manner after the transition. Instructions on making one small configuration change are available at http://www.csun.edu/it/services/exchange/configure.html.
