Security Awareness
Information Security Training
All CSUN faculty, staff and student employees received an email notifying them of the Security Awareness Training that is being offered to all CSUN employees. The notification went out to both full-time and part-time employees and everyone is being encouraged to take the training.
The goal of the training is to better educate CSUN employees on good information security practices both at home and at work. The training is meant to be convenient and is Internet-based so you can complete it from any computer. You can also start and stop the training as your schedule permits because it is not time–dependant.
If you have not completed the training, you will receive a reminder every two weeks until completion. Once you complete the training, you will be provided with a certificate of compliance. If you have any questions, please contact Sylvia Barnes at
(818) 677–4817.
