Planned Service Interruptions

June 1: SOLAR 

Start Time: Wednesday, 8:00 p.m.

End Time: Midnight

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to all SOLAR services will be unavailable.

June 3-4: Data Center Network Maintenance

Start Time: Friday, 6:00 p.m.

End Time: Saturday, 6:00 a.m.

Scheduled network maintenance will require that access to most IT services (including CSUN website, myNorthridge portal, SOLAR, Office 365 email, Moodle, myCSUNbox, Portfolium, Lynda.com, campus VoIP phones & voicemail, Wi-Fi, and college/department services and applications that are hosted in the Data Centers) will be unavailable from 6 p.m. on Friday, June 3 to 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. We have coordinated with college/department server and application owners to make them aware of the service interruption and the need to test application availability after the network maintenance is completed.

Please note that 911 services and campus Blue Light phones will not be impacted during the maintenance window. A temporary static CSUN home web page will be in place during the network maintenance with wording reflecting the scheduled ongoing maintenance work.
