Planned Service Interruptions

November 25: SOLAR

Start Time: Wednesday, 8:00 p.m.

End Time: Midnight

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to all SOLAR services will be unavailable.

November 27: Lecture Capture (Echo 360)

Start Time: Friday, 9:00 a.m.

End Time: Friday, 10:00 a.m.

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to Lecture Capture videos and the ability to publish will be unavailable. 

November 27-28: Scheduled CSUN power outage and impact to IT Services

Start Time: Friday, 10:00 p.m.

End Time: Saturday, 10:00 a.m.

As previously reported by CSUN Physical Plant Management (PPM), PPM and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will be conducting maintenance on CSUN's high-voltage electrical utility infrastructure from 10 p.m. on Friday, November 27 through 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, which will cause a power outage. 

During the outage time, CSUN's wired, wireless network (Eduroam), and campus phones will be unavailable in the following areas:

  • B1, B2 Parking Lots, B3 Parking Structure
  • Bookstore Complex
  • Cypress Hall
  • G3 Parking Structure & Lot
  • Jeanne Chisholm Hall
  • Manzanita Hall
  • Monterey Hall
  • Nordhoff Hall
  • Santa Susanna Hall
  • Student Health Center
  • Valley Performing Arts Center

Please note that Wi-Fi access in all adjacent areas will also be affected.

After the maintenance has been completed, access should be automatically restored; however, if this does not occur, IT staff will be alerted and will work to restore services as quickly as possible.
