Later this spring semester, a confidential data locator tool called “Identity Finder” will be installed on all university-owned computers to help faculty and staff identify confidential data on their machines. This tool will help faculty and staff locate where confidential data is stored and once located, the information can be securely removed, transferred or archived to prevent security breaches and identity theft.
