"Faculty will demonstrate the latest technological strategies to engage students at California State University, Northridge’s annual Faculty Showcase, 'Celebrating Teaching in the Digital Age,' on Monday, Oct. 27.
Eight faculty will present information or show short videos on how they have incorporated tools like tablets, eText, Moodle and lecture capture to enhance student learning. 'The goal of the showcase is to celebrate CSUN faculty who are embracing strategies to teach in the digital age - whether by redesigning their course for flipped, hybrid or online delivery, creating customized eTexts for their students, or teaching with tablets to engage students and facilitate active learning in the classroom,' said Deone Zell, senior director of Academic Technology."
