Upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 - Recommended
Information Technology has tested Internet Explorer 7 for web browsing. IE7 has enhanced security features, and new browser settings for tabbed browsing, instant search capability, and easier printing. The differences and IE7 and older versions are based in making web browsing easier and providing enhanced security features to ensure that your computer remains safe from malicious software and websites. Compared to older versions, the browser window in IE7 has moved some of the familiar features but all the functionality remains with improvements.

Internet Explorer 8 - In Review
Microsoft recently released the new version of Internet Explorer. IE8 is currently in review by IT and the appropriate campus committees and we have not fully determined its compatibility with the campus computer environment. Once testing is complete, more information on IE8 will be posted on this page.
