Data and Analytics: Spam Report

The Spam Report provides the amount and volume of messages for each traffic type. Separated into two sections; Email Traffic Count and Email Traffic Volume, it displays a summary of the results, which are categorized into percentages, pie and line graphs.

Frequency: Updated biweekly
Last updated:02/10/2014
Glossary:

  • Delivery: Messages that are legitimately delivered to this account or domain. Reports that include "Delivery" traffic do not include messages that are allowed by the policy filter.
  • Spam: Messages that are caught by a spam filter upon arrival. "Spam" traffic also includes the requests sent to the e-mail abuse and false-positive e-mail aliases and any messages that are marked as "not junk" that are requested from the Spam Quarantine or Spam Notification e-mails.
  • Virus: Messages that include viruses in attachments or the email.
  • Policy Filtering: Messages that are filtered by the policy filter. (The report breaks down these messages into each different filter type.)
