Commencement 2012 – Video FAQs
Q. What software do I need to view the commencement streaming video?
A. Quicktime. To download Quicktime, visit the Apple Quicktime Download page.
Q. My firewall is blocking Quicktime and I am unable to view the video. What do I do?
A. If you are asked to allow this connection, select yes. If you are on campus and unable to allow the connection (due to security restriction or other settings on your computer), contact the IT Help Center.
Q. I am getting an error message (10061:Disconnected). How do I fix the problem?
A. Follow these steps:
- Launch Quicktime
- Go to the Edit menu
- Select Preferences
- Select Quicktime Preferences
- Select Advanced
- Under Transport Setup, select Custom
- Select Transport Protocol: HTTP
- Leave the port at 80 (default)
- Select OK
- Reload the page
