Information Technology Governance
Executive Technology Steering Committee (ETSC)
Charge/Mission:
The Executive Technology Steering Committee (ETSC) is responsible for the prioritization and funding of CSUN technology projects. Hence, all major recommendations from other technology-related committees flow here and the committee reconciles competing technology priorities. The committee will periodically review the list of requested projects and validate its alignment with overall institutional priorities and goals. The committee oversees the IT strategic planning process, which is managed by the Vice President for Information Technology. The ETSC reports, through the Vice President for Information Technology, to the President’s Cabinet, and meets monthly.
The SOLAR and Administrative Systems Committee (SASC), the Web Communications Committee (WCC), the Technology Infrastructure & Services Committee (TISC), and the Advisory Committee on Academic Technology (ACAT) provide input to the Executive Technology Steering Committee.
