Information Technology Governance
The IT governance committees serve to advise the President and to ensure collaboration with the Vice President of Information Technology. Governance committees influence CSUN's information technology strategy and they advise on priorities for technology initiatives. The committees focus IT’s efforts to improve services, to identify emerging technology needs, and to plan for new technology.
Individual governance committees have been established for each major area of technology (e.g., academic, administrative, infrastructure, web). The Executive Technology Steering Committee provides overall guidance and direction to the other committees and links IT governance to the President's cabinet.
