Use these instructions to access CSUN email:
- Go to Settings.
- In the Accounts section, select your CSUN email account. This may be listed as “Corporate”.
- Select Account settings.
- Select your CSUN email account.
- Scroll down and select Remove account.
- At the top of the screen, select Add Account.
- Select Corporate.
- Enter your CSUN email address as .
- Enter your password.
- Select Next.
- In the Domain/Username field, delete what is there and enter your email address as .
- Re-enter password.
- In the Server field, enter outlook.office365.com.
- Verify that Use secure connection (SSL) is checked.
- Select Next.
- A remote security message displays, select the OK button.
- Check or uncheck preferences as needed.
- Select the Next button.
- Enter an optional name for your account.
- Select the Next button.
- If you receive a message about administrative security features, select the Activate button.
TouchDown App (for Android)
Anyone using the TouchDown app for Android may need to set up the app.
- From the Main screen, press the Menu button (this button varies by device).
- Select Settings.
- The Account tab: Change Login ID to firstname.lastname@ csun.edu .
- The Connection tab: change Server Name to outlook.office365.com.
- Go back to the Account tab.
- Select Save in the lower left corner (may have to scroll down).
- If successful, settings will be verified and the mailbox will be updated.
