The National Student Exchange Program offers students who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 the opportunity to study at one of 190 schools in the USA for one or two semesters. Applications from eligible FRESHMEN, SOPHMORES, JUNORS OR SENIORS for either Fall 2013 or Spring 2014 are due by the dates below.
To find out more about the program, please go to www.nse.org and
select the Students tab. You can then select a State and research the NSE schools offered in that state. If you need to find out which schools offer your Major, under Resources, select Majors and select your Major from the drop down menu. You can then select the state and research the school fully online.
You may have the option of paying CSUN's ( home campus) tuition - Plan B, or the in-state tuition of the host campus - Plan A. Please look at the website for which Plans are available at the schools you are interested in.
Eligible students are awarded financial aid from the campuses at which they pay their tuition and fees.

You can choose up to 5 colleges on your application form. You will only be placed at ONE school, so it is important that you list your schools in order of preference.
Past participants in the program have all been placed at ONE of their five choices.
There is a non-refundable application fee which is currently $150. This fee must be paid at the time you submit your application. The NSE charges CSUN for all student placements, which is why the fee is payable by you.
