CSUN has an exchange agreement with Sogang University in Seoul, Korea. Sogang's School of Economics and School of Business Administration have combined their resources to offer a special program for foreign exchange students. It includes a tuition waiver, an additional scholarship of $2,000 for travel and/or living expenses, one or two semesters of study in the regular undergraduate program, and an opportunity for internship at one of the major multinational Korean companies such as Samsung, Hyundai, or LG. Students must take a class in Econ and another in Business. Classes are in English. An ability in Korean language is not required. In addition, the students may take classes at the Korean Language Education Center free of charge.
The dormitory holds a total capacity of 332 students. Limited space, not all students will be guaranteed a room.
Total Fee: 1,200,000 KRW (about US$1,300) for 4 months with two meals a day (breakfast and dinner).
A boarding house costs about $350~$550 a month. The Housing Office will assist students in locating an accommodation.
