*General advisement:  Students are advised to take the Writing Proficiency Examination once they have earned 56 units.  *Major Advisement:  Students must submit a degree plan to the Program Coordinator prior to enrolling in courses to satisfy the History, Theory and Methodology and Individual Course of Study requirements for the major.  Students are permitted to enroll in HUM 391 and 491 twice each.  The additional enrollment may be applied to either the Individual Course of Study requirement or elective units for the degree.
