One of our alumni, Alex Olson (photo right), received a Fulbright award to teach English at the Tomsk Polytechnic University in Tomsk (Siberia), Russia. He was featured in a local newspaper and he mentioned his experience with the Russian Immersion program. The article is written in Russian.
Alumnus and Fulbright awardee Eric Connelly (photo left) shares the following about his STARTALK experience:
"I participated in the Startalk 2013 summer language program at CSUN, and I had a fantastic time there. I would like to announce that, thanks in no small measure to the experience there and the addition of the program to my application, I have been awarded a Fulbright ETA to Russia for this upcoming academic year! I believe my participation in your program added a lot of weight to my application."
