We are expanding our social media presence, and so we are seeking to hire a CSUN student to serve as a Digital Media Assistant. Under supervision of Jewish Studies Program faculty, this person would be responsible for writing copy for web, brochures, fliers, signage, and other projects. Lithuania and Poland map

16 students had a life-changing experience traveling through Poland and Lithuania with Professors Jody Myers and Donal O’Sullivan.  Highlights included visiting castles and fortresses, touring Wolf’s Lair (the ruins of Hitler’s military headquarters in northern Poland), hanging out with Polish and Lithuanian college students, dancing at a Bar Mitzvah in Warsaw, and eating.  Check out the blog they wrote and illustrated with gorgeous photos, at http://csun2014pollit.blogspot.com/

Lithuania and Poland map

We are pleased to announce that we have recruited a group of 15 CSUN students for our 2-week educational trip to Poland and Lithuania this summer. They are a diverse mix of undergraduate and graduate students. Many of them have taken courses in History, Religious Studies, and Jewish Studies.
