This personal investigative documentary explores questions of identity, resilience, compassion and the plight of displaced persons and their children.  Izak Szewelewicz was born inside the Bergen-Belsen Displaced Persons Camp in 1945 and sent to Israel to be adopted.  Now in his late 60s, Izak is told by his adoptive nephew that the entire family has known for years that Izak has a biological brother.  Other hidden facts emerge when the two brothers meet and visit their elderly mother, the mysterious Aida.

95 minutes, in English and Hebrew (with English subtitles). Followed by a Q & A with the CSUN Jewish Studies faculty.
