2023 Chinese New Year’s Celebration Party

CSUN China Institute and CSSA (Chinese Students and Scholars Association) cordially invite you to 2023 Chinese New Year party. This is our first on-campus celebration since 2019, and we will celebrate the Year of the Rabbit together. The first day on the Chinese calendar falls on January 22nd, and our party is one night before the Lantern Festival.  The Rabbit is a symbol of energy, positivity, and productivity in Chinese culture, which are what we need as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Read more

The Department of Gender & Women’s Studies is proud to announce its first GWS Lecture Series. The purpose of the Lecture Series is to share with the broader CSUN community feminist scholarship that is produced by our own faculty, faculty from other departments that are committed to feminist research and action, and our very special guest speakers. We strive to build a campus-wide conversation on issues that concern women and harmful binary systems that historically have affected not only our lives as humans but also the survival of the planet.
