As an award-winning poet and playwright, Claudia Rankine is the author of five collections of poetry, including Don’t Let Me Be Lonely: An American Lyric and Citizen: An American Lyric, a 2014 National Book Award Finalist. She is also the distinguished recipient of fellowships from the Academy of American Poets, National Endowment for the Arts, and the Lannon Foundation. Her work has widely appeared in publications such as Southern Review, AGNI, and the Kenyon Review. Raised in Kingston, Jamaica and New York City, she is currently the Henry G. Lee Professor of Poetry at Pomona College.
