Mr. Guevara is a young journalist who has played an important role in the creation of the Honduran community radio network that allows disenfranchised communities to have access to the creation of their own radio stations, and production, dissemination and promotion of their own information. His lecture will focus on the importance of community radio and public speaking in the construction of better communities. Read more

Speculative Futures of Race Symposium

The Speculative Futures of Race Symposium is a one-day conference addressing speculative and futurist approaches to critical issues of race in theory and practice, art and activism. The Symposium highlights the evolving political, social, and artistic movements of Afrofuturism, Arabfuturism, Latinofuturism, Indigenous Futurism, Afrosurrealism and Astroblackness.
