Karla Lara is a Honduran singer committed to Social Justice. She is one of the leading voices that resist injustice in Honduras.  Her singing career started in the 80's when the Central American revolutionary movements called the attention of the socially conscious sectors of society to support the cause of the less privilege. In 1986 she joins the band "Rascaniguas" in Honduras. In 1988 Karla leaves her country and joins the iconic Salvadoran band of revolutionary music "Cutumay Camones" in Mexico. Karla Lara's lyrics portrays the hardships and hopes of women and Honduras
