Professor Valerie Soe from AAS at San Francisco State University will be at CSUN on Thursday, Nov 6 (3:30-5PM, Reseda Room in the USU) to discuss her work on experimental and documentary films. She is planning on screening her short film, The Chinese Garden on the anti-Chinese Movement in Port Townsend, WA and talk about her current project, Love Boat: Taiwan. Please let your students know about this talk, particularly those interested in intersections between AAS and media.
