AAS Tutoring/Mentoring Program

AAS Tutoring/Mentoring Program

Through a grant from the Campus Quality Fee, AAS is able to offer a tutoring/mentoring program at the Glenn Omatsu House. We hire upper-division AAS students to mentor/tutor less experienced students in our AAS classes. The majority of the help is on writing but also covers study habits. At the beginning of the academic year or semester, we hire students to be mentors/tutors. The pay is about $11.50/hour. Interested students, please be on the look out for that announcement. Once the tutors/mentors are hired, they are then trained for a few weeks before we have them serve as tutors/mentors.

Our Spring 2017 Tutoring/Mentoring Program hours:

  • Monday 2pm to 6pm
  • Tuesday 4pm to 7pm
  • Wednesday 2pm to 6pm
  • Thursday 2pm to 6pm
