Please join us for an engaging discussion on mindset and student success by Dr. Yeager, a developmental psychology faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin and Fellow at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching at Stanford.

Dr. Yeager's research has led to the formation of the "Mindset Scholars Network," whose members have demonstrated the strikingly positive impact of social-belonging on the academic success of college students. This research has advanced the scientific understanding of how mindset impacts student achievement in the classroom and helps to expand educational opportunities.

Interested in gaining more confidence and developing your leadership and communication skills in a no-pressure atmosphere? We’ve established a CSUN Toastmasters chapter open to all CSUN staff and faculty. If you’re interested in learning more and would like to be part of this dynamic group, come to a meeting and observe.
