Career Center Services in Response to COVID-19

The Career Center has launched a new area in CareerLink called Support During COVID-19, which can be found in CareerLink's Specialized Advice and Resources section. The Support During COVID-19 area was created to provide helpful information to students, faculty and staff, and alumni during this challenging time. The CareerLink Team has compiled resources and articles surrounding nine topic areas:

  1. Staying Informed
  2. Coping with Stress and Anxiety
  3. Taking a Break
  4. Job Search Process
  5. Employee Rights and Benefits
  6. Free and Discounted Services
  7. Learning Remotely
  8. Working from Home
  9. Helping and Caring for Others

Please check out this new section and pass it along to your students and colleagues.

We are constantly adding new content to the Support During COVID-19 section and would like to hear about resources your department has created as well as any material that has helped you adjust to this new normal. Please email recommendations to careerlink@csun.edu

The Career Center's counselors are available for students to connect with. Please provide your students with the email: career.center@csun.edu if they have any questions. The counselors are monitoring and responding to emails within two business days. Students can even request a phone, email, or Zoom appointment with a counselor in their message.

In addition to CareerLink and Handshake, our social media sites, like Instagram & Facebook, highlights job search strategies for your upper-division students. You can access these social media sites through the below links.
