Human Resources provided training programs across campus focusing on diversity and inclusion, including but not limited to:
- Implemented and tracked compliance with Title IX (Sexual Violence Prevention) Training for all MPPs and Confidential employees.
- Supporting Transgender Students on Campus
- Supporting Employees with Disabilities
- Leadership Forums on Men's and Women's Issues, and
- Training for search committees on equitable hiring practices.
Staff Service Awards and Recognition of Excellence Awards Event
For the second year in a row at this event, the Excellence In Diversity and Inclusion Award was presented to a staff member for their commitment to promoting respect for all people.
The recipient of the Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award for 2015 was Franklin Ellis (Student Housing & Conference Services).
