The Department of Recreation and Tourism Management currently offers B.S. degree programs in Recreation Management; which includes specializations in Travel and Tourism, Recreational Sport Management, Campus Recreation, Event Planning, Not- For- Profit Management, Outdoor Education and Leadership, among other areas that prepare students for successful entry into the many career segments in the Recreation professional field. The Department also offers a B.S. degree program in Recreation Therapy.
In addition, we are now accepting applications for admission to its graduate M.S. Degree Program for fall 2008. The Program has two foci: 1) Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and 2) Recreational Sport Management and Campus Recreation/Sport Management. The program will include two 3unit internships consisting of 200 hours each to provide for hands-on management experience as part of the 30 units program.
