Philanthropic Opportunities with HHD
The College of Health and Human Development offers opportunities to support a variety of programs and projects that improve people's quality of life.
HHD's Role: Local and Global
The College of Health and Human Development is made up of eight departments committed to education and community service.
Our students dedicate themselves to courses of study that lead to careers in quality-of-life improvement. Many CSUN students get started as professionals through internships in our college centers or by serving as community volunteers. Graduates can use their education locally - or anywhere in the world they might be compelled to go! Some of our Nursing graduates were on site in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Whether bringing mobility to the disabled, teaching physical education in the schools, showing low income families to make nutritious meals on tight budgets, or teaching communication skills to children born with disabilities that affect speech, our students develop the confidence that comes from experience.
Please explore this website to learn about our departments, Centers, Associations and Programs. As you think about how you might wish to contribute, try HHD At a Glance for an overview of the college.
