Our Values and Goals:
Our Values:
The Values of the College of Health and Human Development are based in "The Four C's of Caring, Compassion, Commitment and Competence."
Caring: our faculty care about students and work diligently to assist them and to ensure that our academic programs are of the highest quality and fully accredited.
Compassion: a key ingredient of our college environment is demonstrated by faculty advising students and ensuring that internships and field experiences will provide life-long learning and future opportunities. Students are assigned in a variety of settings where they are taught how to reach out to those in need, be it a child with a physical disability or an elderly person struggling with Alzheimer's Disease.
Commitment: It takes a high level of faculty commitment to ensure that students will make a difference in the lives of others and the communities we serve.
Competence: the end result and application of knowledge gained in the classroom, laboratories and community internships. Students graduate from our programs with the knowledge and skills sought by major corporations and health care facilities that are necessary to forge successful careers in their chosen professions. The high caliber and diversity of our students, alumni, faculty and staff are impressive. It is truly an honor to serve HHD as dean.
