Observation Students

As part of your application process to ATEP you must complete 60 hours of observation under the supervision of a certified athletic trainer (ATC) in the traditional setting (college, high school, professional team). Ten hours of observation in a rehabilitation clinic may count towards your 60 hours as long as you were under the supervision of an ATC. The following list has been provided as a reference for you in case you do not know an ATC in your area. It is up to you to coordinate and log the observation hours. Please respect the ATC’s work schedule and realize that he/she may not be able to accommodate your request. The following is a list of suggested sites that you may perform your observation hours. The ATCs listed below have agreed to supervise students interested in applying to ATEP at CSUN. You may contact one of the ATCs listed below or contact another ATC.
